DEBT DUE

Our parents before us

Endured death for us

At the end of a rope

Raped, humiliate, and degraded,

Families separated

Paraded on auction blocks

At some plantation or park

Men sold for the size of their

Girth

Not for the content of there minds

Bread like dogs

Whipped till spirits broken

Remembered broken lost

Fear ravished our people

Caused by grown men

Hiding behind sheets

Our fear of being whipped

To death

In front of our families

Could you imagine?

The residual effect

Of seeing some mess

Like that

And you

Think we owe

You a debt

What happened to

The underground rail road

And all those alone the trail

That provided a

Safe place to stay

Whites and blacks

Paved the way

For the freedom

We enjoy today

People died

To have an education

And you want

to skip school

Tell me tell me

Who’s the fool?

I want freedom the same

As you.

You should want

To be a scientist or

An inventor alike

You were supposed to find

The cure for aids

And everything

That ails man

The answer

To the worlds problems

Lie within your hands

And we’re still waiting

 To see

 What marvelous

Contributions

 We’re still

Waiting patiently

 To see

 How you will repay

 The debt due…..

FORGET NOT

Forget not

The blood that soaked the ground

From the continent of Africa leaving trails

through ocean and seas

to this new country

called America

forget not

the sounds of whips

cracking cutting air

creating trees

from the smooth skin of blacks

forget not the strange fruit

hanging from trees

forget not the strong and beautiful roots

from which you come

forget not

least your children become victims

corrupt in spirit

of the exploitations of our

 enemies

RECONNECT

They want you to think

 that your history

Doesn’t matter

Like your past and your future will

never collide

they want you to think that

you’re the scum of the earth

when inside you resides

the riches treasure

in which the depth of your light

 cannot even  be pondered

they trick you into darkness

hoping that you’ll

stay lost

but your light

is so intelligent that it constantly

seeks to reconnect

with GOD

I loved Her Soul

Took my time I did

Oiled and rubbed her skin

Softly and deeply from her

Head to her toes

Asking her to relax

Asking her to let it all go

So that my gentle caress

May touch more than her

Beautiful skin

Like free falling

Falling free

How deeply I penetrate

Depends on how deep

She let me in

Breast squeezed

Nipples pinched

Tongues touch

A breathless kiss

Relax this is only the

Beginning. Darling, we

Have so far to go.

Took my time I did

And did I take it slow

Fingers clench

Sheets undone

Bellies kissed

Backs arched

Can I please you?

And do I dare to

Please you more.

How far will I go

When darkness covers

And light is created

By the friction of strokes

By tongues, fingers, or by

The stroking of oars

In water

Slow down breathe

Stroke, stroke, stroke

Faster, faster, slow, slow

Breathe

Took my time methodically

Matching my thrust

With her willingness to

Open up to me

I feel a slight quiver

And her breath shortens

She tries to run but I

Hold it in grinding to

Sounds and rhythms unheard

Moans turn to screams

She fights the coming

And with whispers

I reminder her to let go

Then she releases

I mean she let it all go

Trembling erupts

She screams like 3 people

Screaming all at once

She lets go and lets me

Make love to her soul
